History class meets car rental in this time-bending trio of comedic spots, all shot in a single day. From the Oregon Trail to Graham Bell’s first phone call to Paul Revere’s midnight ride, Pittroff flexed his period chops across horseback, headsets, and historically overconfident men. The performances leaned theatrical, the production leaned efficient, all amounting to a dry quip and a reliable ride. Even the social-first executions (shot on Matt’s phone) got the same love as the epics. Turns out, the craft doesn’t care about aspect ratio. Sci-fi fandom meets full-service rental. We turned a Chicago Union Hall into a future-forward outpost, complete with JJ Abrams’ official USS Enterprise model and Volkoth battle axe (loaned only after JJ asked, “Who’s running this?”). Pittroff helmed the ship, directing sharp improv from a stacked Second City cast. We teamed up with Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur to highlight Enterprise’s Hall of Fame worthy range…from convertibles to hockey box trucks to carpooling commutes in Devils jerseys. The digital shorts mixed poutine metaphors, misplaced trophies, and the same steady calm Marty brought to the crease.
